Shift of the Сoil–Globule Transition in Porous Polymer Films

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

A model of Gaussian subchains “beads on a thread” is used to find reduced parameters for the equation of state of porous polypropylene films in different solvents. It is shown that the coil-globule transition should shift toward higher values of Flory–Huggins interaction in order to correspond to experimental data.
