Abstract
The heart of a Danio rerio fish embryo 40–48 h after fertilization is studied in vivo using a pulsed scanning acoustic microscope in the 50–100 MHz range of frequencies. The technique allows the parameters of cardiac activity to be evaluated over several hours, and such abnormal behavior of the heart as arrhythmia to be observed.
