Effect of the Order Parameter on the Dynamics of a Few-Cycle Pulse in an Anisotropic Optical Medium with Carbon Nanotubes

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

An investigation is performed of the effect the order parameter has on the dynamics of a three-dimensional few-cycle optical pulse in a nonlinear anisotropic optical medium containing carbon nanotubes. Consideration is given to the dependence of the 3D shape of a few-cycle optical pulse on the distance from the point of the phase transition, and the angle between the electric field of the pulse and the axis of carbon nanotubes.
