Fractal Properties of Chiral Dendrites

Abstract

A new algorithm is developed for calculating the configuration of dendrite clusters based on a modification of the diffusion model limited by aggregation. The presented algorithm allows the effect of an external magnetic field to be considered, along with the interaction between particles during the growth of a fractal dendrite. The effect an applied external field has on a cluster’s morphology is shown. The stability of the fractal properties of the obtained clusters is estimated on the basis of a Fourier transform.
