Abstract
A study is performed of the effect the duration and temperature of the ferritization of highly dispersed powders has on the size and morphology of the resulting strontium ferrite particles. This effect is explained by the formation of different phases, the growth of crystals, and agglomerations of small particles. Modes of W-type hexagonal ferrite synthesis in which particle sizes are minimized are developed.
