Abstract
A way of estimating normalized variations in the intensity of the muon flux is proposed for problems of recognizing local anisotropies. Normalized hardware functions are introduced, and sliding two-dimensional filtering is used. Estimates of normalized variations in intensity are investigated using experimental observations by the URAGAN hodoscope.
