Modern Methods of Determining the Sizes of Neutron-Excess Nuclei


Results are presented from an experiment on the inelastic scattering of 11Li with an energy of 66 MeV off protons using the coupled-channel approach with a three-particle model of cluster excitation and the FRESCO code. The model of dipole excitation describes the experiment well. The proposed approach allows determination of the isotope’s excited level, the size of its dineutron periphery, and the potential width of the resonance level.
