Generation of Rogue Waves in Gyrotrons with High-Current Relativistic Beams

Abstract

The optimum parameters for the generation of rogue waves (ultrashort pulses with peak powers several tens or hundreds of times higher than the average radiation power) in gyrotrons are determined. The possible generation of ultra-wideband chaotic millimeter radiation in gyrotrons with high-current relativistic beams is described.
