Abstract
The effect small inhomogeneities of a leading magnetic field have on the exchange of energy between the electromagnetic field and the beam of charged particles in Cherenkov devices of relativistic high-frequency electronics is analyzed through a computational experiment. It is shown that such inhomogeneities can increase the spatial region of positive values of a device’s efficiency.
