Registering the radiation spectrum of a Mössbauer 119mSn source using superconducting tunnel junction detectors

Abstract

Radiation spectra from a 119mSn Mössbauer source are registered using Nb-based superconducting tunnel junction detectors. Mössbauer and accompanying X-ray radiation are detected via escape peaks with high energy resolution.
