Abstract

Using sufficiently accurate uniform analytical approximations (applicable for all physically significant values of depths, zenith angles, and energies) of solutions to the equations of a simple model of a nuclear cascade in the atmosphere, formulas for the fluxes of mesons and muons for all depths (above sea level), energies, and zenith angles are derived.
