Behavior of quasi-monochromatic rectanglar pulses in a nonlinear medium

A set of equations for describing the parameters of a supergaussian pulse propagating in an isotropic dielectric in areas with normal and abnormal dispersions of group velocity is obtained. The moment that characterizes the degree of supergaussian pulse evolution is found.
