Abstract

A study of unique archaeological organic material from the burials of the aristocracy of the Xiongnu people (Noin-Ula, Nothern Mongolia) is performed by means of X-ray fluorescent analysis with synchrotron radiation (SRXRF), micro-SRXRF, X-ray absorption (XAFS), scanning electron microscopy, and high-resolution X-ray computed tomography.
