Abstract
Quadrupole and sextupole electromagnets for the booster of the NSLS-II BNL synchrotron storage ring (United States) and quadrupole lenses for the LINAC at the MAX IV Laboratory (Sweden) synchrotron storage ring are described. Two ways of manufacturing iron electromagnet yokes are presented, and a system for measuring the multipole harmonics of the magnetic fields of lenses with compensation for the fundamental harmonic is described.
