Abstract
The dynamic behavior of the domain structure of grain-oriented silicon steel with surface orientation near (110)[001] under the effects of laser irradiation and magnetically active coating is studied. The effect of the local stresses and magnetic disperse fields that they create refines domains and reduces magnetic losses in different grades of steel up to 15–25%. The conditions for the formation of local zones of admixtures for increasing the thermal stability of the laser treatment effect are determined.
