Abstract

A diagnostic complex for studying surface plasmon polaritons generated by the monochromatic radiation of the Novosibirsk terahertz Free Electron Laser (FEL) is described. The complex contains three detection systems: an uncooled microbolometer focal plane array conjugated with a collecting lens, a Golay cell, and a superconducting hot-electron bolometer. Examples of experiments demonstrating the operation of this complex are presented.
