Cluster states in neutron-rich nuclei

Abstract

The structure of light neutron-rich nuclei is investigated within the cluster model. Moments of inertia are systematized for low-lying bands of positive and negative parity. It is shown that the experimentally observed rotational bands can be described in the scope of a simple alpha particle model.
