Effect of film thickness on the electromagnetic properties of La1−x Sr x MnO3 coatings

Abstract

Coatings of La1−x Sr x MnO3 (x = 0.225) with thicknesses of 6 and 1000 nm are deposited by magnetron sputtering on LaAlO3 substrates and the electromagnetic properties of obtained films are studied in detail. It is found that the colossal magnetoresistance observed in the samples is considerably influenced by interface effects.
