Abstract

This work is devoted to nanoglasses obtained by the consolidation of amorphous nanoparticles and other methods. The structure and properties of these materials areanalyzed. The manifestation of ductility in metallic glasses is emphasized. The properties and fields of application of film composites based on carbon nanoinclusions and refractory compounds in amorphous matrices are described. The problems requiring further studies are stressed.
