Characteristics of solar X-ray flares registered by the CORONAS-PHOTON satellite

Abstract

We examine the time behavior and energy characteristics of the ultraviolet, soft, and hard X-ray emissions of several C-class flares recorded by a set of instruments on board the CORONAS-PHOTON satellite. The difference between their parameters are considered in the thermal and nonthermal radiation ranges. The upper measured limit of the degree of linear polarization of X-rays is determined for the most intense flare.
