Abstract

The propagation of electromagnetic waves in a rectangular waveguide containing layers of common dielectric and metamaterial with a negative refractive index separated by a thin film of a superconductor of the second type in the mixed state is considered. The possibility of amplifiying waves at frequencies lower than the cutoff energy due to the energy of an Abrikosov vortex lattice moving in the superconductor is demonstrated.
