On the dynamics of a spectrum of extremely short pulses in biaxial crystals

Abstract

The spectral dynamics of the pulses propagating in biaxial crystals is analyzed. It is shown that the spectral densities of pulse components will have maxima at the frequencies satisfying the phase and group synchronism conditions.
