A new approach to determining the degree of cellulose crystallinity in wood

Abstract

A method for determining the degree of crystallinity of cellulose in wood that conconsiders its piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties is proposed. This approach makes it possible to estimate the degree of crystallinity of many fiber-forming polymers.
