Thermodynamics of nonequilibrium processes in application to severe plastic deformation

Abstract

A new approach of mesoscopic nonequilibrium thermodynamics is developed for theoretical description of metal dispersion during severe plastic deformation. This approach is based on the thermodynamic equality combining the first and second laws of thermodynamics and Landau’s technique for constructing evolutionary equations.
