A mathematical model is presented for description of light propagation in tubular fibers. The propagation constants of guided waveguide modes of a tubular light guide are calculated in the cases of isotropic and anisotropic materials of tube walls, having parameters and characteristic features of such a biological tissue as human tooth dentine.
