Reliability and Risk Assessment of Machine Building Items According to Diagnostics Results

Abstract

This article is about assessing the reliability and in-operation risks of vehicles with the help of diagnostic information. The information about the health status of an automobile can come from data from integrated remote and stationary diagnostic systems. The main aim of assessing risks and creating remote diagnostic systems is to predict the operational reliability and safety of automobiles. To solve this problem, it is necessary to identify in a timely manner and then prevent the occurrence of malfunctions, which requires distinguishing a special class of intermediate statuses called pre-accident conditions. Information about each model can be obtained, and the respective statistical data can be accumulated on the condition that the necessary remote diagnostic systems are created.
