Abstract

The results of metallographic study of coatings of metal powder materials with additives of nanocarbides of tungsten and tantalum obtained by fiber laser cladding are presented. It is shown that, in abrasive wear tests according to the Brinell–Haworth method, wear resistance increases by 4–6 times compared with 34KHN1MA steel, in the case of an increase of nanocarbide content from 10 to 40% of mixture volume.
