Abstract
The oil pipeline lifetime distribution was found by the method of statistical simulation according to a determined formula, when the yield point, load, and dimensions of the section are subject to a normal distribution law. The expression for the limiting pressure of the beginning of yield under the joint action of circular, longitudinal, and temperature stresses has been obtained. On the basis of these data, the forecasting of lifetime factors of oil pipeline reliability at its design stage and building has been performed, and due to that environmental safety was enhanced.
