Abstract
Findings of comparative bench tests for six grades of carbon and alloyed structural steels hardened by surface electrolysis borating and data of the reliability for borated members under field conditions within a heterogeneous abrasive environment and for borated scoop pins in hinged joints of a scoop chain of a suction-tube dredger are presented.
