Abstract
The contemporary state, prospects of development, and application of vehicles using energy of compressed air are analyzed. Potential marginal valuations of the efficiency of a pneumatic power source and piston pneumatic motor are obtained. The possibility of brake energy regeneration for subsequent acceleration is presented.
