Abstract
During fire with single shots, strong wear occurs along angles of grooves that destroys groove edges. This phenomenon results in the derangement of a bullet, a decrease in its speed, and the loss of gyroscopic stability by the bullet on the trajectory. An analysis of the parameters of heating and temperature for the near-surface layer of a barrel channel from one shot for channel parts subjected to the bursting powder gas in angles of grooves and angles hollow with the shell is performed.
