Abstract
The interaction of channel walls having an elastic yielding with a layer of viscous incompressible liquid between them is studied under channel vibration. The pressure distribution in the liquid, laws of motion of the walls, and their amplitude and phase-frequency characteristics which allow us to study dynamical processes in vibrating machines with an external source of vibration are determined.
