Statistical modeling of the lifetime of face seals in an oil-transfer pump

Abstract

The density function of the time to failure is obtained by the deterministic formula of the lifetime of face seals and the criteria of aging and wearing out. The forecast of system reliability on the initial stage of maintenance of a main pumping unit is made and provides stability of oil and oil products transfer.
