Abstract
The construction of the new precision piezoelectric accelerometer with a built-in mechanical filter is presented. The mechanical filter efficiently suppresses impacts to the measuring system of oscillations in the direction of the principal axis with frequencies higher than the operating band, decreases the measuring system response at a self-resonance frequency, protects the measuring unit from the impact of base deformation, decreases the effect of the amplitudes of high frequency mechanical oscillations on the accelerometer’s measuring system, and the damping sensor’s transverse oscillations. The mechanical filter is manufactured from a special compound based on caoutchouc-polychloroprene rubber. The technical performances of piezoaccelerometers produced by different manufacturers are compared.
