Abstract
Traditional viewpoints of the study of seismicity imply the terms of Euclidean space with a separated time dimension. In contrast to this, an approach to the consideration of seismicity in terms of the spatiotemporal continuum with equivalent time dimension is proposed. However, instead of Lorentzian metrics with the signature 〈1,3〉, which is valid for relativistic physical models, Berwald–Moor metrics with signature 〈4〉 are used.
