Abstract

The paper investigates the impact of polychromy on the information density of data in graph-coded form. A generalized method of data compression has been proposed that makes it possible to additionally increase the information density of data in graphic form by 25–38%. The problems of noise-immune coding of data before their plotting in graphical form were considered. In addition, the information processes involved in optical reading and processing of multicolored graphic codes were also investigated.
