Software Support for Services for Analyzing the Publication Activity of Employees of a Scientific Organization

Abstract

The article investigates the development of software services providing automated analysis of qualitative indicators of the publication activity of employees of a scientific organization. The subject of the study is the approaches and methods that make it possible to implement the interaction of information systems of an organization with external bibliometric databases. The information extracted can be used both in the processes of the internal activities of the organization to accumulate data on publication performance and to generate reports on ongoing projects and prepare documents for seminars, conferences, and competitions. The article discusses the possibilities of interaction with databases: Russian Science Citation Index, Web of Science, and Scopus.
