Use of Electronic Media and Social Media in the Scientific and Technical and Educational Spheres

Abstract

The trends and the prospects for the use of electronic media and social media in the scientific, technical, and educational spheres are shown. The conceptual basis is presented of the implementation of problem-oriented and/or thematic-focused selective dissemination of scientific and technical information by means of collecting and data processing of sources of mass media. Tasks and specifics of the application of open and scientific social networks in the scientific and technical sphere are analyzed. The problems and tasks of the methods and means of use of various types of mass media in scientific and innovative activity are indicated. Some negative aspects of the impact of mass media on the scientific sphere and society are noted.
