Man and Information in the Mirror of Science: Past, Present, and Future

  • Published:
Scientific and Technical Information Processing Aims and scope

Abstract

Modern science highlights the role of information in the origins and life of man. The information revolution of the 20th century has become a crucial factor in the development of society. The aggravation of global problems of civilization compels mankind to pursue the path of sustainable development. The only possible way out of crisis is a noospheric strategy of the world community. This strategy builds upon the achievements of informatics and cutting-edge information technology.
