Abstract
This paper describes a new multi-method technology PAKS-M (Progressive Aggregation of the Classified Situations by many Methods) for the multi-criteria choice. This technology provides reducing the dimension of the attribute space, constructing several hierarchical systems of composite criteria and an integral quality index that aggregates initial attributes as well as the classification and/or ordering of multiattribute objects using different combinations of several decision-making methods. The technology is based on the knowledge of experts and/or the preferences of a decision maker (DM). It significantly reduces the time and complexity of solution of a multi-criteria choice task, and allows a decision maker to conduct a meaningful analysis of the results. This technology was used for the multi-criteria selection of a prospective computing complex.
