The innovative forms of information services offered by libraries in Belarus

Abstract

This paper reviews the innovative forms of information services that are offered by libraries in Belarus. Specifically, it refers to the information websites operated by domestic libraries; the unified catalog of libraries in Belarus; the electronic document delivery system; virtual reference services and other services; the virtual reading room; an automated system of selective information dissemination; and an automated information system of book reserve control based on RFID-technology; and digital libraries.
