The information support of the research in sinology based on electronic resources of the INION RAS

Abstract

This paper considers the basic categories of consumers of information on sinology. It describes the results of analyzing the problem and thematic structure of the document flow on the problems of China, which is contained in databases on social sciences and humanities of the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences (INION) of the RAS. The principles for complex processing of documents and searching for information on sinology are uncovered based on a complex of linguistic instruments. The potential for creating a database on country studies database that is focused on the information needs of sinologists is determined.
