Abstract
A link in a multiservice communication network with packet switching formed by multimedia type subscriber and network terminals is studied. Based on the investigation of the performance of the system, a mathematical model of the terminal hardware for a link in a multiservice communication network is created, and analytical expressions for the estimation of the performance attributes of the network are obtained.
