Information system for antitumor agents: Computer database registration and nomenclature module

Abstract

A general description of the corporate information system for antitumor agents of the Blokhin Cancer Research Center (CRC), a complex representing an archive of primary documents, paper cards with formalized information, and a computer database in ISIS/Base format, is given. The system contains data on the chemical structure, composition, physicochemical properties, and biological activity of 11 000 entities investigated at the CRC and is used for the information support of work on the search for new antitumor preparations.
