Abstract
The problems of how to optimize the geometric parameters of the paraboloid-cylinder-receiver (PC-R) system of thermal power plants are examined. The optimal opening angles of the paraboloid-cylindrical concentrator in the system are determined, and it is shown that it is possible to increase the concentration by a factor of two.
