Abstract

Cylindrical concentrators with quasiparabolic guideline for uniform irradiation of a receiver that is aligned with the longitudinal axial plane of the reflector are considered. The reflector guideline formed by the elements of a parabola with variable focal parameter is studied. The parametric equations for the curve along which the current parabola foci move are presented. The arrangement variants of the reflector branches are presented for several solar concentrating systems.
