Influence of various factors on the fatigue of airplane wheels

Abstract

By investigating the influence of various factors—such as the asymmetry of the loading cycle, the stress concentration, the scale factor, and the stress state—on the fatigue of airplane wheels, the analysis of actual components may be hastened, and the design may be optimized.
