The nano dimensional silica oxide films optical properties changing by the D-elements modification

Abstract

The optical properties changes of the glass composites with nano dimensional sol-gel films of SiO2 and d-elements oxides. It has been shown that the nano composites light losses were proportionally to the film-forming solutions viscosity and had the growth with the melting temperature of d-element oxide increasing.
