Matelea gracieae Morillo, a new species from French Guiana, and Cynanchum gortsianum Morillo, a new record for Suriname

Abstract

New speciesMatelea gracieae (Asclepiadaceae) is described and a collection ofCynanchum gortsianum (Asclepiadaceae), previously known only from French Guiana, is reported for Suriname. This new record allows for corrections in the original description ofC. gortsianum, which was based on aberrant material.
