A new species of Tachia (Gentianaceae) from Suriname

Abstract

A new species ofTachia,T. longipes, is described and illustrated. It is distinct from the other species ofTachia not only in its leaf and stem morphology but also in its characteristic pollen. A revised key to the neotropical species ofTachia is also provided.
